It is expensive to purchase services, surgical and medical supplies, anesthesia and vaccines and we are grateful for the gifts that have made it possible for us to help some of the neediest cats in Massachusetts.

The Pet Rock Festival is an annual event held the second Sunday of September each year. It is an afternoon expo/festival that includes live music, vendors, food, contests, and most importantly, more than 200 animal organizations broadcasting their causes. |

communities. Especially for Pets is dedicated to responsible pet care and their retail
stores serve as venues for teaching and educating the public. As a company,
they recognize their responsibility to contribute to the solution of the
overwhelming problem of homeless and abandoned animals. |

The Massachusetts Animal Friendly License Plate is now offered in Massachusetts to prevent pet overpopulation by funding programs that provide services to spay and neuter cats and dogs. The license plate program is run by the Massachusetts Animal Coalition, an organization comprised of animal welfare professionals and volunteers who work together to decrease the number of homeless, neglected, displaced and abused animals in Massachusetts. |
